Welcome to the Rig of the Month!
We’ll be bringing you our favorite rigs from customers and overlanding all-stars and showing you how they adapt them for their unique lifestyles.
This month we were inspired by Jack (@camo_cruiser) based out of northern Utah. He recently took his Toyota FJ Cruiser and custom rig out to the Salt Flats for a solo adventure.
Jack likes to adapt his rig for the seasons, attaching Falcon crossbars to hold his camping gear and securing shovels and extra gas tanks on the sides.
The weather doesn’t seem to deter this overlanding expert. You can find Jack and his Roofnest battling the elements — he’s hitting the road come rain or shine.
He brings his furry companion along for the ride, too.
Here’s how and where to take your dog on a camping adventure >
When it comes to getting the most out of his Roofnest, Jack adds the Condor Awning as an extra spot to enjoy the night sky or crack open a cold beer.
We are impressed with Jack’s overlanding skills, and we can’t wait to see where he heads next!
