Condor 2 Series

Comprised of the Condor 2, Condor 2 XL, Condor Overland 2, and Condor Overland 2 XL models, these fold-out style tents offer the greatest capacity with the smallest footprint. The new Condor 2 has been completely redesigned with upgraded materials, a sturdier construction, and a feature-rich interior that together represents a generational leap forward in the evolution of rooftop tents.

Sparrow 2 Series

Sparrow 2 and Sparrow 2 XL are favorites among those who love the iconic pop-up style tent which boasts 360° views, loads of headroom, ample room for storing bedding, and maximum use of space. Those looking for a streamlined version have a clamshell model to choose from as well in the Sparrow EYE 2.

All three models feature a rugged Line-X coating and are compatible with optional accessory crossbars.

Falcon 2 & Falcon 2 XL

The Falcon 2 (85″ x 50″) and Falcon 2 XL (85″ x 60″) are less than 6.5″ tall when closed, and both attach easily to any roof rack. These tents are waterproof, quiet, warm, and super easy to set up and take down.

In this walk-through video, Roofnest teammate Stephanie guides you through the features, materials, and construction of the Falcon 2. From its next-level accessory channel to its three huge windows offering panoramic views, you’ll have a hard time getting the Falcon 2 out of your head after watching this video.

Falcon Pro

Built for adventure, comfort, and convenience, the Falcon Pro has a modified clamshell shape that provides more space, bigger windows, better weather protection, a skylight, and even allows you to store bedding.

The stamped, 6-series aluminum hard top features multiple accessory channels for your overlanding gear and provides a solid platform to attach the included Falcon Pro crossbars to carry all your adventure toys.

Meadowlark

The Meadowlark is truly the first soft-shell tent worthy of the Roofnest badge. This is anything but your typical soft-shell– no cumbersome guy lines; no poles; no hassles. The Meadowlark sets up in seconds. Just unclip the cover, unfold the tent with the telescoping ladder, lock the interior U-bar, and camp is set.

User Guides

How to Install Your Roofnest

From what to do when your hard shell roof top tent first arrives at your home to safely and securely installing your RTT on your vehicle, read our installation guide before attempting to install your Roofnest.

How to Choose Your Crossbars

The stock crossbars that come with your vehicle aren’t always ideal for a Roofnest hard shell roof top tent.

You need to make sure you’ve got the right crossbars to bear the weight of your RTT — both with campers inside (static load) and when closed and speeding down the highway (dynamic load).

Find your vehicle roof type and what kind of crossbars and towers you’ll need to mount your Roofnest.

Roof Rack Guide

All your Roofnest requires to mount safely to your vehicle is the right pair of crossbars. But if you want to mount your RTT and a handful of extra gear to your roof, a platform rack may be a good option for you.

Read our guide to figure out the best roof rack option for your rig.

Condensation Guide

Condensation can collect on the walls of your RTT for a few reasons: your breath while you sleep, wet gear or other clothes inside your tent, or natural humidity in the air.

Read our guide for minimizing condensation inside your Roofnest.

How to Store Your Roofnest

We always recommend that you store your Roofnest at least 2” off the ground to prevent moisture from getting into your tent and causing rot or other potential damage.

It’s important to find a safe and convenient place to store your roof top tent during the off-season so you can keep enjoying your tent for many years to come  — without it taking over your whole garage.
